Globaloria exam

1.The big idea of  our game is space travel, we want the player to learn about the technology and the time needed to make space travel possible while also being a fun game.
2.We decided on our game topic by choosing something that could be educational and also be made into a fun game.
3.I worked on the drawings and designs for the game and adding weapons, my teammate worked on flash and added educational stuff.
4.Most of our game research was just random facts about space travel we got from google.
5.Player will play the role of a space marine sent to mars to defeat the aliens, the player must also do repairs to the space statin and buy better weapons as the game goes on.Our game has not changed since the begining because we wanted to keep the game simple.
6.Being able to transfer items from paint to flash has been the most helpful thing so far. It's easier to draw in paint then in flash and after your done you can just transfer the file to flash.
7.The hardest curriculum topic was definately getting the score code on the bunny demo in flash because it took so many tryes for me to get the bunny to score everytime he hit the carrot.

reflect on game ideas

  • WHO are you designing your game for? (my game is for shooter fans)
  • WHAT spelling to improve how to spell words (space travel)
  • WHERE on a planet where all universes come together? the game will be on mars
  • HOW
    • the game will have simple controls
    • they use them in sentencesand helps the make their words more accurate
  • WHY to be honest no one in this world wants to play an educational game2. Comment on the blog of another Globaloria student in your Knowledge Community!
